Welcome to the Norfolk City Democratic Committee (NCDC) web site. We hope

Virginia is turning blue and we need your help to continue to
make this happen! It has been an uphill climb, but it is
getting easier as more people begin to realize that the
Democratic way is the right way to do business at all levels
of government. Since Mark Warner’s election in 2001, we
have gained seats in the Virginia House of Delegates,
elected Tim Kaine Governor, elected Jim Webb to the United
States Senate, and most recently gained the majority in the

We now look forward to an exciting presidential election as we
support our Democratic nominee Barack Obama and our
Candidate for the US Senate Mark Warner.

the growth and success of the Democratic Party at the
local, state, and national level. With this in mind, we are
proud that one of Norfolk’s Congressmen, both of
Norfolk’s State Senators, all six State Delegates,
Norfolk’s Clerk of Court, Norfolk Commonwealth’s
